If you’ve been reading Cinnamon & Apple for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard me mention various children, mainly: “the Niece” (Mia) and “the boys” (some friends of our’s sons), well, “the boys” are acquiring a new brother or sister!
Rob & Amy currently have 4 boys (they used to have a hamster- Choc Chip, but he died a few days before Christmas- so sad I tell you..)- so…6 is about to grow to 7! Now, I’m not sure if it’s all the cakes and cupcakes I make them, or if it’s simply because I give them the time of day, but I’ve come to find out that I have 2-3 “boyfriends” (depending on how they’re feeling), from the same family!! I did have some competition from a good friend of mine a few months ago but she’s out of the picture now..haha..
Anyways, last night Amy mentioned that the boys want the baby to be a girl (she’s still too early to find out what it is), and that if it is a girl they want her to call the baby Stephanie!! I tell ya..If I was 20 years younger….It was probably one of the sweetest things I’d heard in a long time!! I quickly informed Amy that I would settle for a middle name if she did choose to honour the wishes of her son’s! Or, in the case that she had another boy, Stefano would also be adequate! hahaha…
I know the boys are all little, and in a few years, they’ll probably forget all about me and have proper girlfriends, but for the time being I’m just lapping it up!!
(If by some miracle Amy does have a baby girl, the below blanket, that I saw on See Kate Sew, is definitely going on my list of “to make!”)
